This new group will be lead by Cheryl Womack and will focus on crotchet projects for various charities. This month, we are collecting 30″x 30″ afghan blankets for the NICU at St. John’s Hospital. All experience levels are welcome. Materials will be provided, or you can bring your own materials from home. Drop off your blankets throughout the month of May. Gone for Good Document Destruction, an UCP Land of Lincoln initiative, will be at the library parking lot from 9-12 on Saturday May 5th. They provide quality shredding service in the Springfield area. They offer secure and complete document and information material destruction and recycling and provide meaningful employment for adults with disabilities. Please bring any documents you would like shredded to this event during the Village Clean Up Day.
